Notice to Washington State employees:

Any new coverage elected in this enrollment will not exempt you from the WA Cares Fund payroll tax, as the deadline of November 1, 2021 has passed. If you have existing coverage through Allstate or another insurance company, no action is required. You may enroll in the Allstate plan with GUARANTEED ISSUE for additional coverage with a total maximum life insurance benefit of $200,000 and up to a total maximum life insurance benefit of $250,000 with Simplified underwriting.

For example: Your WA Allstate policy has a benefit of $50,000 – you can purchase up to an additional $150,000 of life insurance with Guaranteed Issue for a maximum of $200,000.
